THEY’RE BACK!

Reports of Goliath Grouper spawning aggregations returning to Palm Beach County are coming in. The giant groupers are congregating on PBC wrecks from the MG 111 in Jupiter to the M/V Castor in Delray. The Goliaths have been returning each year in August and September for this annual spawning event. The number of individuals has been steadily increasing each year as this protected species recovers from near extinction in the 1990’s.

Divers don’t miss your chance to observe this incredible spectacle and get up close and personal with these 500 lbs. giants.

Here is just one of many videos shot by local divers highlighting last year’s aggregation on the M/V Castor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxawTkRz9yA
